Benefits of Tribal Members

Tribal members have a few benefits, whether it be economically or spiritually. The Tribes have a number of businesses that contribute to the economy of the Reservation. Even though they are owned by the Tribes, they operate independently from the Tribal government. All tribal members benefit from the economic success of tribal enterprises because the Confederated Tribes is registered as a membership corporation.
Also, some of the dam revenues and federal aid helps support local school districts with a significant population of Native Americans. In 2003, the revenues amounted to $3.8 million for schools around Madras alone.
All the tribal members receives and bestows a legacy. They possess rights and responsibilities for the sake of life's continuance. They all play a part of the tribe no matter how small the part.
